This company had 60%+ attrition of staff in the sales team and needed to scale to deliver on business growth targets and grab the market opportunity. There was no internal talent team and all hiring was done by the directors. There was also a lack of time to run a thorough process or to qualify down the applications to find the best talent.

This company had 60%+ attrition of staff in the sales team and needed to scale to deliver on business growth targets and grab the market opportunity. There was no internal talent team and all hiring was done by the directors. There was also a lack of time to run a thorough process or to qualify down the applications to find the best talent.

OUR SOLUTION

Working with the Sales & Marketing Director, we determined the level of growth targeted by our client and their need to find the right level of capability, desire and cultural alignment for this critical new business role. 

We selected the talent event process to find the New Business Manager, the person who would lead the focus on breaking open the Caribbean and Latin America markets.

Coupling that with the importance of getting the decision right in terms of their personality fit, aptitude and their capability to learn and adapt at the pace the role demands, we included our best-in-class psychometric testing for the shortlisted candidates who attended the event.

From this final shortlist of high-fit candidates, the client completed an in-person role based assessment and final interview to select the winning candidate.
