THEIR CHALLENGE

The business wanted to hire two hungry and talented sales people, one SDR and one BDR to insource the roles and move away from the current outsourced agency model. 

Urgency was required with both roles needing to be hired within four weeks to align with the end of the outsourcing contract, and with the talent team based in North America, they needed the support of a specialist UK sales recruiter to maximise the probability of a speedy outcome and support the scale-up of their EMEA GTM team.

OUR SOLUTION

Working with the EMEA SDR Manager, Global GTM Director and GM of EMEA, we agreed to host a virtual talent event.

We invited the strongest candidates for the SDR and MDR roles to attend and learn about the company, the opportunity and what’s expected for them to win in their role. 

Compelling job adverts for each role were created, with social promotion and an outbound hunting track to find talent within their most wanted competitors for the SDR role, where previous experience and industry knowledge was a key criteria.

The top 19 candidates were invited to attend the virtual talent event and the top candidates for each role completed a screening call with Bolt Talent, before completing three more interview stages with the client across the SDR, sales, and marketing teams. 

Both roles were hired within the four-week timeframe, as well as 17 other candidates being properly educated about the company from that one 60-minute talent event.
